The family soon moved north of Hardin. She graduated from Hardin High School, trained as a telegraph operator in Lincoln, Neb., and later as a bookkeeper at Billings Business College. Hazel married Jerome (Jerry) Sandon in 1955, and they raised their two children in Billings. Viewing will be 7 to 9 p.m. Nov. 11, at Michelotti-Sawyers Mortuary. 1001 Alderson Ave., Billings, MT. Funeral services will be at 11 a.m., Nov. 12. Mass at St. Bernard Catholic Church, 226 Wicks Lane, Billings, MT and internment at 1:30 p.m. at Sunset Memorial Gardens, 1721 Central Ave., Billings, MT. In lieu of flowers, the family ask you to consider a donation to Yellowstone Valley Animal Shelter, a place and cause held dear by Hazel.
