Mr. Stockhorst has held a position as bar tender in several saloons here until about four months ago he was not able and departed with his wife to Excelsior Spring, Missouri, where he sought relief, but it seemed to do very little in that way and returned home shortly again. Read More	Henry's Obituary: PASSED AWAY AFTER LONG ILLNESS Taken from the Scribner Rustler, March 14, 1912 Henry Stockhorst who has been in ill health for the past six months or more, passed away at his home Monday afternoon. Mr. Stockhorst has held a position as bar tender in several saloons here until about four months ago he was not able and departed with his wife to Excelsior Spring, Missouri, where he sought relief, but it seemed to do very little in that way and returned home shortly again. He was confined to his bed after his return until he quietly passed away at the age of thirty-six years seven months and fifteen days. Henry Stockhorst was born in Germany, on July 25, 1876 (sic). In the year 1892 (sic) he came to America and resided in and around Scribner ever since. November 3, 1905 he was united in marriage to Anna Bock (Book), after which they made Scribner their home. He leaves a wife, two sisters, and one brother to mourn his loss. The brother resides at Seattle, Washington, one sister at Orchard, and another in Germany. Burial was made at the Pebble cemetery yesterday afternoon from the congregational church. The Sons of Herman were in charge of the body, of which lodge he was a member.
