Description	:	Lewistown paper 4-12-1989 Helen Ann Phillips, 79, of Lewistown died Sunday, April 9 at the Central Montana Hospital Nursing Home following a long illness. She was born July 1, 1910 in Kendall, a daughter of Adam and Fannie Munski, and received her education in Kendall and Lewistown, graduating from Fergus High School. She attended Normal School and Teachers College at Dillon and taught in several rural schools in Fergus County. On June 29, 1938 she was united in marriage to David Phillips in Lewistown. Read More	Lewistown paper 4-12-1989 Helen Ann Phillips, 79, of Lewistown died Sunday, April 9 at the Central Montana Hospital Nursing Home following a long illness. She was born July 1, 1910 in Kendall, a daughter of Adam and Fannie Munski, and received her education in Kendall and Lewistown, graduating from Fergus High School. She attended Normal School and Teachers College at Dillon and taught in several rural schools in Fergus County. On June 29, 1938 she was united in marriage to David Phillips in Lewistown. They lived in the Lewistown area until 1950 when they moved to the Chinook area, where she continued to teach in rural schools. They moved to Hilger in 1952 and she taught school in Fergus County until her retirement in 1975. Her husband preceded her in death in 1978. Mrs. Phillips was a member of St. Victor's Catholic Church of Hilger and the Hilger Homemakers Club. She is survived by three sons, Tom of Fairfield, Dwight of Bozeman, and Duane of Hilger; one daughter, Margaret Miller of Reno, Nevada; four brothers, Les Munski of Lewistown, Frank Munski of Whitefish, George Munski of Dillon, and John Munski of Highland Park, Illinois; two·sisters·Rose Gilbertson and Florence Mallas, both of Lewistown; seven grandchildren, two great-grandsons, and several nieces and nephews. Graveside services for Helen Ann Phillips will be held Saturday, April 15, at 11. a.m., in Sunset Memorial Gardens. Cremation has taken place. The Cloyd Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
