Description	:	Helen A. Whooley, 85, of 424 Lewis Ave., died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1993, at St. Vincent Hospital. Helen was born Nov. 22, 1908, in Columbus, a daughter of Adolph and Margueritha Schneider. Helen attended grade school and high school in Columbus, graduating in 1927. She attended Billings Business College in 1928. In 1931, she united her love in marriage to Dick Whooley Sr., in Columbus at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Whooley, 85, of 424 Lewis Ave., died Wednesday, Aug. 18, 1993, at St. Vincent Hospital. Helen was born Nov. 22, 1908, in Columbus, a daughter of Adolph and Margueritha Schneider. Helen attended grade school and high school in Columbus, graduating in 1927. She attended Billings Business College in 1928. In 1931, she united her love in marriage to Dick Whooley Sr., in Columbus at St. Mary's Catholic Church. Following her marriage, they moved to Billings. She was a member of St. Patrick's from 1928 to 1952, and a member of Holy Rosary from 1952 until the time of her death. She was active in the Altar Society from (1952-present), and Catholic Daughters from (1937-present), currently acting as vice president as she did in 1938. Helen loved to spend her time in her flower garden, making apple pies and visiting with her many friends. Survivors include a daughter, Margaret Whooley Heinselman of Spokane, Wash.; a son, Daniel Whooley of Fallon, Neb.; eight grandchildren; two sisters, Tillie Moss of Riverton, Wyo., and Margerite Allen of Billings; and a brother, Tony Schneider and his wife, Joyce of Billings. She was preceded in death by her husband, D.L.Dick Whooley in 1962; and her son, Richard Whooley in 1986. Christian Vigil services will be held at 7 p.m. Monday, Aug. 23 in Dahl Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday, Aug. 24 in Holy Rosary Church with interment to follow in Holy Cross Cemetery. Memorials may be made to Holy Rosary Church.
