Born in Pickens County, she was a daughter of the late Ferrell and Alo Barrett Rampey. She was retired textile employee and was a member of Cannon Memorial Baptist Church. Brown, Michael Yon and Jeremy Owens; great-grandchildren, Max Labor, Dorian Labor and Jaxson Diesel Hill; and may nieces and nephews. In addition to her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son, Glenn Hill; brothers, Earl Rampey and Franklin Rampey; an infant sister, Earlene Rampey; and a grandson Greg Hill. Funeral services for James and Helen will be 3 PM, Friday in the chapel of Duckett-Robinson Funeral Home with burial to follow in Mt. Zion Cemetery, Central. The family will receive friends from 1:30 to 2:50 PM prior to the service at the funeral home. The family is at the home. Flowers are optional or memorials may be made to Cannon Memorial Baptist Church, Central, SC. Condolences may be expressed online at www.robinsonfuneralhomes.com or at the funeral home.
