Born in Pemberton, she was the daughter of the late Watson and Ethel Woodward Harker. Helen was the wife of the late Elwood Stevenson and Walter Engle. She lived in Jacksonville for many years and the last 20 years in Pemberton. She was a former member of the Grange and a good farmer's wife. She also is survived by a stepson, Wilbur Engle and two stepgrandchildren, April Jones and Margie Engle and a stepgreat-granddaughter, Ashley. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Monday at Perinchief Chapels, 438 High Street, Mount Holly. Interment will be in the Odd Fellows Cemetery, Pemberton. Friends may call Monday from 10 to 11 a.m. at the funeral home. Contributions in her name may be made to the charity of the donor's choice.
