Description	:	Funeral services for Mrs. Helen Wiser, age 90 of Manchester, will be conducted Thursday, January 20, 2011 at 1:00 PM with Pastor Sally Harvey and Rev. Louis Johnson officiating at Coffee County Funeral Chapel. Burial to follow in Blantons Chapel Cemetery. Visitation with the family will be Thursday, January 20 from 11:00 AM until time of service. Mrs. Wiser passed away Tuesday, January 18, 2011. Mrs. Helen Wiser was born January 19, 1920 in Coffee County to the late William E. and Myrtle Lusk Brown. She was a homemaker and a member of the Blantons Chapel United Methodist Church who cherished her role as a ministers wife. She also enjoyed reading, cooking, music, and sports, especially the Atlanta Braves and the UT Lady Vols. In addition to her parents, she is also preceded in death by her husband Rev. Louis Wiser; brothers, William E. Brown, Jr., Frank Brown; and sisters, Gladys Good and Ellen Vaughn. Her survivors include son, Hoyt (Gayle) Wiser of New Johnsonville, TN; daughter, Patricia Wiser (Phil Loney) of Sewanee; grandchildren, David and Derek Wiser of New Johnsonville, Anthony Avalos of Antioch, CA, Shaina Kozlowski of Denver, CO; and ten great-grandchildren. In lieu of flowers, the family suggests memorial contributions be made to a charity of your choice
