Born in Cash Valley, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. Klosterman and Frances (Helmstetter) Klosterman. Her husband, Earl S. Crowe, preceded her in death. Mrs. Crowe, a licensed practical nurse, graduated from Baltimore City Hospital in 1953. She served on the executive board, was a past president and treasurer of Maryland LPN Association. Crowe, 76, of 616 Columbia Avenue, died Monday at Sacred Heart Hospital. Born in Cash Valley, she was a daughter of the late Harry B. Klosterman and Frances (Helmstetter) Klosterman. Her husband, Earl S. Crowe, preceded her in death. Mrs. Crowe, a licensed practical nurse, graduated from Baltimore City Hospital in 1953. She served on the executive board, was a past president and treasurer of Maryland LPN Association. She formed nine of the state divisions for LPN in Maryland. At the local level, she was a past president, treasurer and chairman of ways and means for the Allegany-Garrett County LPN Association. She was a member of SS. Peter and Paul Catholic Church, Secular Order of St. Francis and a charter member of the LaVale Volunteer Fire Company Axiliary. Surviving are two brothers, Robert S. Klosterman, Dallas, Tex., and Lawrence J. Klosterman, High Point, N.C.; two sisters, Mrs. Edna R. Wagoner, LaVale; Mrs. Pauline M. Logsdon, Ridgeley, W. Va., and number of nieces and nephews. Friends will be received at the Leasure-Stein Funeral Home Wednesday from 7 to 9 p.m. and Thursday 2 to 4 and 7 to 9 p.m. Ladies Auxiliary to the LaVale Fire Company will hold a memorial service Wednesday at 8 p.m. The Secular Order of St. Francis will recite the rosary Thursday at 3:30 p.m., and a Christian wake service will be held at 8 p.m. Thursday at the funeral home.
