Description	:	OXFORD - Butts Morton, Helen (John), 80, retired teacher, died Saturday, April 17, 2004. Visitation 9am-8pm Friday, with family present 6-8pm; service 10am Saturday, all at Senter-Smith Mortuary, Mulvane. Helen was born Jan. 11, 1924 at Mulvane to Gertrude and Floyd John. In 1943, she married Clifford Butts. They farmed near Mulvane and had 2 daughters, Barbara and Beverly. The family moved to a farm outside of Oxford in 1953. Shortly after his death, Helen moved to the Topeka area, where she remained until her death from Alzheimer's Disease. She is preceded in death also by her parents and her brother, Wayne and former husband, Clifford. Survivors: daughters and sons-in-law, Barbara and Caleb Abbott, Marion, Beverly and Benton Roseberry, Tecumseh; 4 grandchildren; 4 great-grandchildren.
