Description	:	MRS. HELEN S. MILLER Mrs. Helen S. Miller of Charlotte was killed Monday morning while driving her car across the Southern railway tracks on the Dowd road. She had been to take her husband to his work on West Trade street and was returning home. The car was smashed and carried 200 feet on the track and she was killed instantly. There have been many deaths at this particular crossing. She was 30 years old. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of Mrs. H.B. Stephens and the late Mr. Stephens of Weddington, and her funeral was held this afternoon... Read More	MRS. HELEN S. MILLER Mrs. Helen S. There have been many deaths at this particular crossing. She was 30 years old. Mrs. Miller was the daughter of Mrs. H.B. Stephens and the late Mr. Stephens of Weddington, and her funeral was held this afternoon in the Weddington Methodist church by Rev. Paul Duckwall and Rev. T.J. Huggins. Active pall bearers were Messrs. Olin D. Morris, Ed Steele, Wade Davis, T.J. Heath, Guy Taylor, Odell McManus, Mark McCain and Lonnie Taylor. Honorary pall bearers were Messrs. T.M. Short, F.F. Deal, J.T. Matthews, Clyde McCorkle, Richard Hudson, Charlie Crane and Brown Howie. Flower girls were Mrs. Boyd McCain, Miss Ann Smith, Mrs. Pearl Steele, Miss Peggy Davis, Miss Louise Davis, Mrs. Hilda Morris, Miss Dorothy Hoyle, Miss Beulah Young, Mrs. Wade Davis, Mrs. Mattie McManus, Mrs. Clyde McCorkle, Mrs. Minnie Setzer, Mrs. Myrtle Hasty, Mrs. Stella Mae Hasty, Mrs. Jack Rogers, Mrs. Edwin Haywood and Miss Evon Greene. Surviving are her husband, Thomas H. Miller; her mother; two brothers, A. G. Stevens of Union County and T. E. Stevens of Santa Barbara, Calif; and eight sisters, Mrs. J. G. Kinley, Mrs. Ed Killough, Mrs. M. C. Cunningham, Mrs. C. A. Steele, Mrs. Kenneth Rogers, Miss Gladys Stevens and Miss Elsie Stevens all of Union County and Mrs. Buster Bright of Gonzales, Texas. .................................. Wife of Thomas H.
