Description	:	Helen Ford was born to the parents of Ledford Cleveland and his wife Bertha Tidwell Ford on Feb 13th 1933 in Caryville, Campbell County, Tennessee. She married Elmer Blankenbickler on October 8th 1949 at the age of 16. They bought into life five children Maxine, Jewel Lay, Patsy Joanne, Freddie and David. She became quite ill (from depression) it is believed from having her children so close together and her husband was never around to help even after work. She never recovered. She married Elmer Blankenbickler on October 8th 1949 at the age of 16. They bought into life five children Maxine, Jewel Lay, Patsy Joanne, Freddie and David. She became quite ill (from depression) it is believed from having her children so close together and her husband was never around to help even after work. She never recovered. Her husband left her during her illness and later proceeded to marry another woman and had another five children. He never went to see his other five children with Helen, so the rest of family was never aware of him having married again, until I was contacted on Ancestry about Elmer having another wife. Helen lived a great distance from anyone on a place called Blankenbickler Hill , so at times was quite lonely. She was a wonderful wife and mother, kept their home always clean, her children well dressed and provided them with nourishing food. She was the most kind woman you would ever want to meet and anyone who met her loved her. When her brother who lived out of state went to visit he was always welcomed in along with his wife and children. Wonderful cook and mother. Helen passed August 23 1994 in Caryville, Campbell County, Tennessee and is buried in Woodward Cemetery, Demory, Campbell, Tennessee. She left behind to grieve her loss her five children and one brother Clyde Ford and many nieces and nephews.
