She graduated from high school in Edgeley in 1942. She married Julian Marynik on June 29, 1948, in Berlin, North Dakota. She married Osmund Thorson on March 16, 1984, in Grand Forks. She is survived by her children, James and Julie, her step-sons, Paul and John, her brother, John, 8 grandchildren, 12 great-grandchildren, and 5 step-grandchildren.
