Boswell, 89, Garnett, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, at a Richmond nursing home. She was born March 17, 1895, in Marshall County, the daughter of Henry and Gertrude Ring Schell. She moved from Kansas City, Mo. to Garnett in June 1975. Boswell, 89, Garnett, died Wednesday, Sept. 12, at a Richmond nursing home. She was born March 17, 1895, in Marshall County, the daughter of Henry and Gertrude Ring Schell. She moved from Kansas City, Mo. to Garnett in June 1975. Mrs. Boswell was a member of Holy Angels Catholic Church at Garnett and the Anderson County Chapter of American Association of Retired Persons. She was married to Harry West April 18, 1918. He died June 11, 1942. She was married to Joe Boswell Aug. 25, 1945. He also preceded her in death. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Margaret Classen, Garnett; two brothers, John Schell, Marysville, and Jake Schell, Kansas City, Kan.; two grandsons, and five great-grandchildren, and a great-great-granddaughter. Mass of Christian burial will be at 11 a.m. Friday at St. Gregory's Catholic Church in Marysville. Burial will be in St. Gregory's Catholic Cemetery at Marysville.
