Description	:	Helen Irene Buell, 92, of Somerville, died Monday, May 2, 2005, at Matrix Health Care Center in Oxford. Born Jan. 25, 1913, in Somerville, she was the daughter of Roy and Mary (Wright) Thomas. She graduated from West Elkton High School in 1932. She worked for the Beechnut Tobacco Factory in Middletown during World War II and also played on their softball team. Mrs. Buell spent most of her life on the family farm. Born Jan. 25, 1913, in Somerville, she was the daughter of Roy and Mary (Wright) Thomas. She graduated from West Elkton High School in 1932. She was a member of Somerville Presbyterian Church. Survivors include family members, Bob and Shirley Andrews, Dr. Carl and Sandy Palechek, Paul and Gloria Hill, Tom Yoshimi and Fiona Andrews, all of Hamilton, Ken and Donna Parks of Darrtown, Betty Moore of Florida, Gene Russello of Florida, Tammy Andrews of Somerville; several cousins and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her husband, Raymond, whom she married May 11, 1936, in Covington, Ky.; and an infant son, Marvin. Funeral services were Thursday, May 5, at Somerville Presbyterian Church, with the Rev. George W. Witmer officiating. Burial was in Somerville Cemetery. Nein-Thompson Funeral Home, Camden, was in charge of arrangements. Memorial contributions may be made to Somerville Presbyterian Church, 207 Walnut St., Somerville, OH 45064.
