Obituary From “Ottumwa Courier,” June 2, 1934: Mrs. Helen Ketcham Overturf, 25 years old, wife of Raymond E. Overturf, 701 Wabash avenue, died at the St. Joseph hospital at 3 a.m. today. Besides her husband she is survived by two children, Raymond Keith and Shirley Helene; her father, John Ketcham; a brother, Floyd and her grandmother, Mrs. Alice Ketcham, all of Ottumwa. The body was removed to the Johnson funeral chapel and will be taken to Mrs. Overturf’s grandmother’s home, 614 East Finley avenue, tonight. Short funeral services will be held there at 2 p.m. Thursday and at the Davis Street Christian church at 2:30. The Rev. Roy C. Leeds, pastor of the church, will officiate. Burial will be made in the Shaul cemetery.
