Description	:	Helen Louise Shoemaker, 83, formerly of Clear Spring, MD and a resident of Manor Care Health Center in Chambersburg, PA, passed away Friday, August 21, 2015, at the home. Born November 5, 1931, in Hagerstown, MD, she was the daughter of the late Joseph Martin Bridendolph and Vertie Odessa (Burall) Bridendolph. Helen was a member of the former Trinity Christian Church in Clear Spring and was a homemaker. Helen is survived by daughter-in-law, Laura Shoemaker; daughter, Darlene Peck ; four sons, Earl, Darryl, Ronald, and Donald Shoemaker; brother, Lloyd Bridendolph; 5 grandchildren; and 10 great-grandchildren. Services will be held on Tuesday, August 25, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. at Donald Edwin Thompson Funeral Home, Inc., 13607 National Pike, Clear Spring, MD. The Rev. Dennis Whitmore will officiate. Interment will follow at Shanktown Cemetery in Big Pool, MD. The family will receive friends one hour prior to the service on Tuesday. Online condolences may be expressed at www.thompsonfhinc.com.
