Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday, May 1, at St. Martin's Catholic Church, Cascade, with the Rev. Aloysius Vorwald officiating. Burial will be in Calvary Cemetery, Cascade. She received her education in Cascade area schools. She married Leo T. Moriarity on Oct. 2, 1940, at St. Martin's Catholic Church in Cascade; he preceded her in death on Feb. 7, 1989. Helen was a true mother. She cared for her 14 children and 41 foster children. She was a member of St. Matthias Parish in Cascade and also was a member of the Cascade American Legion Auxiliary. Surviving are four daughters, Linda (Eldon) Greenwood, of Farley, Janis Moriarity, of Dubuque, Susan (friend, Dick Bolton) Schneider, of Hazel Green, Wis., and Nancy (Delbert) Pfab, of Cascade; six sons, Tom (Sandy) Moriarity, of Asbury, Bob (Janice) Moriarity and Leo (Tammy) Moriarity Jr., both of Cascade, John (Franceine) Moriarity, of Charleston, Ark., Jerry Moriarity, of Winona, Minn., and Steve (Jackie) Moriarity, of Houston; five sisters-in-law, Monica Hosch and Evelyn Knockel, both of Cascade, Darlene Schneider, of Holy Cross, Shirley Oberfoell, of Sherrill, and Kay Moriarity, of Cascade; 35 grandchildren; 35 great-grandchildren; and four great-great-grandchildren. She also was preceded in death by her parents; three daughters, twins, Jean and Janet Moriarity, and Carolyn Bolton; a son, Peter Moriarity, on May 13, 1986; a son-in-law, John Schneider; grandchildren, Joan and John Fortman, in infancy; three sisters, Mary Callahan, Florence Stocks and Clara Weber; and two brothers, Joe Hosch and Nick Hosch.
