Description	:	CONYERS, Ga. — Helen M. Brown, 87, of Conyers, Ga., formerly of Bettendorf, Iowa, passed away May 16, 2009, after a long illness at Morningside/Heartland Hospice, Conyers. A memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 26, at 2 p.m. at Morningside, with an interment at Brown's Cemetery in Colesburg, Iowa. She married Louis S. Brown and had two sons, John A. Brown and Robert (Bob) L. Brown. Helen retired from Alcoa in 1984 with over 30 years of service. She was a member of the Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, Bar Harbor, Maine. She loved her family, the many friends she met during life and especially the staff at Morningside. She was preceded in death by her husband and two sons. She is survived and will be missed by her sister, Mary Robinson, of Bar Harbor, Maine; brother, John and Frances Nirich and Family, of Amissville, Va.; three grandsons, Rob, Martin, and Nicholas; three great-grandchildren, Sidney, Austin and Nicholas; and daughter-in-law, Marsha (Lockwood) Brown. Arrangements were handled by Scot Ward Funeral Services/Stone Mountain Crematory.
