Description	:	Monday - February 28, 1994 Helen M. Gless, 79, of 726 N. Mississippi St., died Saturday evening, Feb. 26, 1994, at the Clifton House in Minneapolis, Minn. Services will be at 10:30 a.m. Wednesday at the Weerts Funeral Home in Davenport. Burial will be at the Blue Grass Cemetery. Visitation will be from 3 to 8 p.m. Tuesday at the funeral home. Mrs. Gless was born Dec. 14, 1914, at Wilton Junction, a daughter of Henry and Mollie Hasbrook Bill. She married William W. Gless in 1943, at Columbus Junction. The couple founded Gless Bros. Trucking Co. of Blue Grass. She had taught school in the Muscatine schools for 10 years. She was a volunteer at C.A.S.I., was a member of First Church of Christ Scientist in Davenport and was a licensed Christian Scientist nurse. She was also a volunteer at "Help Listen to Me Read" at the Blue Grass School. Survivors include a daughter, Mrs. Willo (Lynn) Harrah of Blue Grass; three grandsons; two sisters, Gladys Campbell of Branson, Mo., and Orrell McCracken of Palatine, Ill.; and two brothers, the Rev. Lester Bill of South Bend, Ind., and Victor Bill of Muscatine; and a number of nieces and nephews, including Steve Berger of Muscatine, and Mrs. Gary (Emily) Gregory of Davenport, both of whom she raised. She was preceded in death by her husband in 1977 and a daughter, Geraldine.
