After her children were grown, she was the head cook at Kipp Grade School in Kipp for many years. She then worked at Tony's Pizza Service in Salina in the production area until her retirement in 1986. Helen Marjorie Henry was born in Kipp, KS, on February 15, 1920, the daughter of the late Edward and Myrtle (Morris) Henry. Helen graduated from Kipp High school. She was a former member of Gypsum United Methodist Church in Gypsum. She was united in marriage to Robert M. Reeves, who preceded her in death. Helen is survived by 2 daughters, Berniece I. Knotts of Salina and Doris A. Davidson and her husband Max of Junction City. Also surviving are 6 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren. She was also preceded in death by: parents; son, John L. Reeves; and a daughter, Jacquelyn L. Coleman; 4 brothers; and 2 sisters. Friends are invited to call Tuesday from 3 to 8 p.m. and Wednesday from 9 a.m. to 8 p.m. at the funeral home. A funeral service will be at 10:00 a.m. on Thursday, April 17th, at Carlson-Geisendorf Funeral Home, Salina. Burial will be in Gypsum City Cemetery, Gypsum, KS.
