Description	:	Helen Mary Knapp was born at French Creek, in New York state. In early childhood, she moved with the family to Illinois, where she great to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Charles E. McKibben on September 12, 1889. From that time until her death, her home was in Nebraska, three and one-half miles west of Exeter. She united with the Congregational church of Exeter nearly forty years ago, and was always a faithful member, and showed a lively interest in its welfare, and was ready at all times to help in every way possible.... Read More	Helen Mary Knapp was born at French Creek, in New York state. In early childhood, she moved with the family to Illinois, where she great to womanhood. She was united in marriage to Charles E. McKibben on September 12, 1889. From that time until her death, her home was in Nebraska, three and one-half miles west of Exeter. She united with the Congregational church of Exeter nearly forty years ago, and was always a faithful member, and showed a lively interest in its welfare, and was ready at all times to help in every way possible. She also took an interest in school work and neighborhood affairs. She loved her home passionately and it was her wish to stay in the old home until she died. She passed away on February 27, at the age of 75 years, to join her loved ones in the Better Land. She leaves to mourn her departure, her faithful husband, one son, W.E. McKibben, several grandchildren and a large circle of friends and acquaintances. Although in poor health for many years, she was always cheerful, counting her blessings and expressing her tanks for God's great goodness. The funeral was held on Saturday, March 1st. After a brief service at the house, the body was taken to the Federated church at Fairmont, where the service was conducted by her pastor, Rev. A.E. Bashford, of Exeter.
