Born in Marysville, NB she was a daughter of the late Durward and Margaret (Morgan) Cameron and wife of the late Weymon Anthony Thornton. She was a retired teacher, having taught for over 30 years, in the Province of New Brunswick. Born in Marysville, NB she was a daughter of the late Durward and Margaret (Morgan) Cameron and wife of the late Weymon Anthony Thornton. She was a retired teacher, having taught for over 30 years, in the Province of New Brunswick. She is survived by a son Laurel (Ruby) of Nipissing, Ontario; daughters Marilyn Farrell of Upper Kingsclear and Rena Clements (Jim) of Hamilton, Ontario; brother Durward Cameron (Charlotte) of Hanwell, NB; four grandchildren Alan (Shelly), Shawn (Shelley), Craig (Norma), and Michelle (Derek); eight great-grandchildren; numerous nieces and nephews. Besides her parents and husband, she was predeceased by a son Marlow and a sister Jean Clark. Visitation was held at Bishop's Funeral Home, 540 Woodstock Road, Fredericton on Sunday, February 20, 2005 from 2-4 and 7-9 pm. The funeral service will be held at Bishop's Funeral Home on Monday, February 21, 2005 at 12:00 pm.
