She was born December 28, 1915 to George and Maude (Hartman) Weber in Olympia, Washington. She is predeceased by her sisters, Clara Moulton, Elizabeth Weiks; and infant Gerald; and her three brothers, Joe Weber, Kenneth Weber and Charles Weber. She is predeceased by her sisters, Clara Moulton, Elizabeth Weiks; and infant Gerald; and her three brothers, Joe Weber, Kenneth Weber and Charles Weber. She is also survived by her two sons, Douglas L. Lozier of Silver Creek, Washington, and Gary L. Lozier of Tumwater, Washington and her daughter, Sandra J. (Lozier) Kennedy of Puyallup, Washington, as well as her 13 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren, as well as numerous nieces and nephews. Helen attended grade school in Olympia, Washington and High School in Olympia and Vancouver, Washington. On October 15, 1935 she married Tom E. Lozier in Tumwater, Washington and served as Clerk of the Court for 18 years during her husband Tom's service as Tumwater Police Judge. She was a part-time employee for many years for the Washington State Department of Licensing. Helen was a Christian woman, her faith governed her life, and she was a great influence on her children. When her photograph was taken at age 16, the photographer wanted her to model for him, as she was extraordinarily beautiful. She was a woman of many talents, including gardening, bird hunting and deer hunting in Waitsburg, Washington, as well as fishing, quilting, and oil painting. She especially delighted in traveling to Arizona during the winter months, where she and her husband initiated a Talent Show involving senior citizens. A private grave side service will be held at Odd Fellows Cemetery in Tumwater at 10:30 a.m. on Saturday, September 15, 2007. A celebration of her life will follow at 11:30 p.m. at the Westwood Baptist Church, 333 Kaiser Road Northwest, Olympia, Washington. We are blessed by her unconditional love, good counsel, and wisdom. She was dearly loved and will remain in our hearts and minds forever. Donations may be made in lieu of flowers to: Cancer Society or Heart Association.
