Description	:	SALISBURY - Helen Trexler Lesslie, 90, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lesslie was born Nov. 10, 1916, in Statesville to the late Martin Luther and Margie Owen Trexler. She was a graduate of Boyden High School. Mrs. Lesslie was a member of Maupin Avenue Presbyterian ARP Church, where she and her husband worked with the youth groups and taught Sunday School classes. She was Foreign Missions secretary for 15 years and a former member of Eastern Star. Mrs. Lesslie was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Lesslie... Read More	SALISBURY - Helen Trexler Lesslie, 90, of Salisbury, died Tuesday, Jan. 30, 2007, at Rowan Regional Medical Center. Mrs. Lesslie was born Nov. 10, 1916, in Statesville to the late Martin Luther and Margie Owen Trexler. She was a graduate of Boyden High School. Mrs. Lesslie was a member of Maupin Avenue Presbyterian ARP Church, where she and her husband worked with the youth groups and taught Sunday School classes. She was Foreign Missions secretary for 15 years and a former member of Eastern Star. Mrs. Lesslie was preceded in death by her husband, John N. Lesslie Jr., on April 15, 1960, and a brother, Owen Trexler. She is survived by her son, David O. Lesslie of Salisbury; and daughters Linda L. Campagna of Stanley and Rebecca L. Overton of Wilmington. Seven grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren also survive her. Service: A funeral service will be held on Friday at 11 a.m. at Summersett Memorial Chapel. The service will be conducted by the Rev. Randy Foster, minister of Maupin Avenue Presbyterian Church ARP, and the Rev. Tim Robinson, former minister of Maupin Avenue Presbyterian Church ARP. Burial will follow at Chestnut Hill Cemetery. Visitation: The family will receive friends at Summersett Funeral Home from 10-11 a.m. Friday. Memorials: Memorials may be made to Maupin Avenue Presbyterian ARP Church, 100 Maupin Ave., Salisbury, NC 28144. To Plant Memorial Trees in memory, please visit our Sympathy Store.
