"Mrs. Koerber was one of the pioneers of Nebraska, her parents coming from the east in a covered wagon and settling five miles north of Valley near one of the old Indian trails. Mrs. Koerber was born in 1878 and attended Fremont Normal, teaching her first school at Buffalo, Neb." She later worked as a cashier for Rome Miller who had a string of restaurants near railroad depots in Sidney, in Wyoming and later in Norfolk. She was married in Norfolk...
