Mrs. Huitt was born January 7, 1912, in Kansas City, Kan. She was an active member of Countryside Christian Church, where she served as church secretary for 13 years and was also a longtime member of the church's Christian Woman's Fellowship. Helen was a avid gardener and a member of the West Garden Club. She was an excellent cook and seamstress, but most importantly, was a devoted wife, mother and grandmother. She is preceded in death by her first husband, Cleon Sanders, five brothers and two sisters. Survivors include her husband, Dena Huitt, children Jeri Lynn Bilotta and Thomas Sanders and wife Marguerite, stepdaughter Paula Manley and husband Ken, seven grandchildren and 19 great grandchildren.
