Description	:	OBIT Helena Bohrer, 86, died February 12, 1994 at the Baptist Home. Helena was born April 1, 1907 at Karlingabdorf, Russia, the daughter of Carl and Amalia (Peitch) Masser. She came to the United States with her family as a small child, traveling by way of canada. They settled near Krem. She attended rural school at Krem. She worked for Governor Moses at Hazen. On Oct. 3, 1926 she married Richard J. Bohrer at Mannhaven. They farmed in the Mannhaven area until 1943 when they moved due to construction of the Garrison dam. ... She came to the United States with her family as a small child, traveling by way of canada. They settled near Krem. She attended rural school at Krem. She worked for Governor Moses at Hazen. On Oct. 3, 1926 she married Richard J. Bohrer at Mannhaven. They farmed in the Mannhaven area until 1943 when they moved due to construction of the Garrison dam. They farmed 11 miles southeast of Hazen for the next 11 years. They moved to Bismarck in 1954. She worked at the Bismarck Baptist Home, Patterson Hotel and the Prince Hotel and retired in 1982. Mr. Bohrer died in 1963. She is survived by three sons and four daughters-in-law; Hilbert and Viola, Hazen; Howard and Viola W, Stanton; Rueben and Mildred, St. Cloud, MN; and Ruth Bohrer, Bismarck; one brother, Adoph Masser, Tumwater, WA; 13 grandchildren and 25 great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her husband, two sons, one grandson and one great-granddaughter.
