Description	:	Helmuth H. (Pat) Paetznick was born in Groton, S.D., October 7, 1935 to Henry and Karry Paetznick. He attended Groton School and graduated from Groton High Sschool in 1953. Then he enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1957. He married Peggy Holt of Cresbard on August 17, 1958. He entered Northern State College in 1958, graduating with a B A Degree in Business and Education in 1962. He taught school in Barnard his first year. (Pat) Paetznick was born in Groton, S.D., October 7, 1935 to Henry and Karry Paetznick. He attended Groton School and graduated from Groton High Sschool in 1953. Then he enlisted in the U.S. Navy from 1953 to 1957. He married Peggy Holt of Cresbard on August 17, 1958. He entered Northern State College in 1958, graduating with a B A Degree in Business and Education in 1962. He taught school in Barnard his first year. They then lived in Aberdeen where he worked two and one half years at St. Luke's Hospital in the Social Services Department. Then they went to Iroquois where he taught school for two years. From there they went to Clara City, Minn., where he was principal of the school for 11 years when he had a severe heart attack and had to give it up. They then moved to Cold Springs where he had since resided. He was in the real estate business for United Farm Agency. He passed away at their lake cottage at Big Fish Lake on May 23, 1982. Leaving to mourn his great loss are his wife Peggy, his daughter Shari Ann, his mother and step-father, Karry and Clemens Geffre and his brother-in-law and sister, Gary and Myrna Pulfrey and family of Seattle, Wash. Interment was in Sunset Memorial Gardens near Aberdeen. Preceding him in death were his father Henry H. Paetznick and baby brother Rodney Allen. Casketbearers were all dear friends of Helmy's who knew and loved him. He was a member of the Cold Springs Lions Club, American Legion and VFW and also a member of St. Cloud Board of Realtors. They were both very active members of the Bethlehem Church and Bible School of St. Cloud. He had a master's degree in Education and Business and several credits toward his doctorate degree.
