Mrs. Bieber died Friday, August 20, at the Dakota Midland Hospital in Aberdeen following an extended illness. Organist for the service was Miss Marijane Goetz. Special music was by the St. Paul Lutheran Church choir under the direction of Harold F Spiry. Burial was in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery at Java, under the direction of the Miller Funeral... Burial was in the St. Paul Lutheran Cemetery at Java, under the direction of the Miller Funeral Home of Bowdle. Casket bearers were Ed F Perman, Ed Schanzenbach and Jake Rabenberg, all of Selby; Otto Mueller, Gilbert Schlepp and Kenneth Eisenbeisz, all of Java. Mrs. Henrietta Allean Bieber nee Sayler, was born to Emanuel Sayler and Mary Schumacher Sayler on January 09, 1910, at Underwood, North Dakota. In 1929 she moved to the Bowdle-Java area where she stayed with the John Biebers. On November 03, 1935, she was married to Herbert F Bieber of Java, and they made their home on a farm south of Java. In 1940 they moved to the farm south of Java, where they were residing at the time of her death. She was a member of St. Paul Lutheran Church of Java, and was active in the ALCW, the Altar Guild and St. Paul Lutheran choir. She is survived by her husband, Herbert; two sons, Merle of Aberdeen, and Carlyle of rural Java; her father, Emanuel Sayler and step-mother, Mrs. Barbara Sayler of Underwood, North Dakota; two brothers, Calvin Sayler of Underwood, and Rueben Sayler of Bismarck; one sister, Mrs. Gottfried Walth (Lily) of Leola; and a half-sister, Verna Sayler, Underwood; and two grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her mother and a half-brother, Wilbur.
