Description	:	Funeral services were held at Kramer May 7 for Mrs. Henrietta Steinke, 87, who died in a Lincoln nursing home May 4. Born in Haldem Westphalen, Germany she was a pioneer resident of Lancaster County and came to the United States in 1891. Before coming to the states she attended parochial school and was confirmed in the Lutheran church by Rev. Matt Krueger in 1885. Born in Haldem Westphalen, Germany she was a pioneer resident of Lancaster County and came to the United States in 1891. Before coming to the states she attended parochial school and was confirmed in the Lutheran church by Rev. Matt Krueger in 1885. On March 25, 1896 she was married to Fred Fangmeier, a widower with four children. Her husband passed away December 9, 1901. The couple had two daughters. Later she married Henry Steinke, and they lived on a farm in Kramer until they retired to Crete in 1916. Mr. Steinke died April 10, 1933, and she continued to live in Crete until her health failed. She had lived with her daughter, Anna, and spent the last three years in a nursing home. Surviving are three daughters, Mrs. Sophia Henning, Mrs. Anna Henning, Crete, Mrs. Marie Renner, Lincoln, a son, William Fangmeier, Friend; 19 grandchildren, and 35 great-grandchildren. Her parents, David and Louise Klanke, two sons, and a daughter, preceded her in death. Mrs. Steinke was a member of the St. John's Lutheran Church and Ladies Aid. Burial services by Rev. W.L.
