PRELL PASSED ON She Died Monday Evening at Home of Her Son, Adolph. Mrs. Henrietta Prell passed away at 6:30 o'clock Tuesday evening, Jan. 10, at the home of her son and daughter-in-law, Mr. and Mrs. Adolph Prell, in East David City, at the age of 92 years and 2 months. She became ill Sunday night from complications due to her advanced age. Henrietta Schmoldt was Mrs. Prell's maiden name and she was born November 11, 1845, at Wildenow, Fredericksburg, Germany where she grew to young womanhood, coming to Buffalo, N.Y., in 1871 and to Butler county a few years later. She was married to August Prell at Columbus and they lived in Nebraska and Michigan. Three children, one daughter and two sons, were born to them. They are Mrs. John Rathjen of York, Charles Prell of Paw Paw, Mich., and Adolph Prell of David City. Mr. Prell died in Burt, Mich., in 1904. Mrs. Prell had made her home with her son in David City since 1919. Besides her three children, Mrs. Prell leaves two stepsons, Fred Prell of Benedict and Raymond Prell of Shelby, a number of grandchildren and several nieces and nephews, on of whom is Miss Ella Muntz of David City. Mrs. Prell was a faithful member of the Baptist church and was a faithful attendant at the church services until her health failed a few years ago. Rev. William Richards conducted the funeral services, which were held at the McVay funeral home at 2 o'clock Wednesday afternoon. Two hymns, "In the Garden" and "Saved by Grace," were sung by Mrs. L. C. Harris and Mrs. G. H. Penrod, with Mrs. Charles Jonas at the piano. The pallbearers were Arthur King, W. F. Tillma, John Schweser, F. W. Vybiral, Fred Welte and Ray Ziehr. Burial was in Pleasant Hill cemetery, near Millerton.
