Description	:	Following diagnosis of cancer six months ago, Henrietta Smith of Lennox, SD, died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, at Sioux Valley Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls, where she had been admitted the day before. She attained the age of 64 years and 14 days. Henrietta Smith was born at Lennox, SD, on Dec. 15, 1931, the daughter of Dave and Nettie (Cornelius) Wildeboer. Read More	Following diagnosis of cancer six months ago, Henrietta Smith of Lennox, SD, died Friday, Dec. 29, 1995, at Sioux Valley Hospice Cottage in Sioux Falls, where she had been admitted the day before. She attained the age of 64 years and 14 days. Henrietta Smith was born at Lennox, SD, on Dec. 15, 1931, the daughter of Dave and Nettie (Cornelius) Wildeboer. She attended Lennox public school and grew to womanhood here. On Jul. 1952, she was united in marriage to Marvin Smith in Sioux Falls. They lived in Lennox for a time following their marriage, and then moved to their farm east of Lennox where they lived for 25 years. In 1985, they moved back into Lennox, where they had since lived. Henrietta had been employed in Food Service at the Lennox school for many years, and then was a dietary aid at the Lennox Good Samaritan Center for 17 years until ill health forced her retirement. Grateful for having shared her life are her widower, Marvin; her two sons and their wives: Michael and Joanie Smith of Tea, and Ronnie and Dawn Smith of Lennox; four grandchildren: Brian, Kevin, Jason, and Rebecca Smith; one brother, Bennie Wildeboer of Lennox; two sisters: Rena Dannen of Sioux Falls, and Mrs. Roy (Lena) Abbas of Lennox.
