Description	:	Born on May 12th, 1948, in Monticello, Iowa, he was the son of Felix Henry and Elizabeth Irene (Redmond) Picray. He received his education in the area of his birth. Henry served our country honorably in the United States Army and saw two tours of Viet Nam. He came back to the United States and began a lengthy career as a truck driver- hauling everything from common cargo to even logs. Read More	Born on May 12th, 1948, in Monticello, Iowa, he was the son of Felix Henry and Elizabeth Irene (Redmond) Picray. He received his education in the area of his birth. Henry served our country honorably in the United States Army and saw two tours of Viet Nam. He came back to the United States and began a lengthy career as a truck driver- hauling everything from common cargo to even logs. He drove to every state in the Continental United States and retired from JB Hunt after 2 million miles driven for them accident free. Henry enjoyed wood-working and was sometimes known as being “mischievous”. He treasured his family and was extremely proud to be a U.S. Veteran. On June 27th, 1986, he was united in marriage to Sharon Spitzer in Sand Springs, Iowa. They continued to make their home there. Mr. Picray was a member of the Catholic faith and a lifetime member of both the VFW and American Legions in Monticello. In death, Henry rejoined his parents, his grandson Gabriel and a brother, Kevin.
