Description	:	Henry Aldon Fleming was born in Madison County, Nebraska, on December 18, 1911. He was one of eight children born to Willie F. Fleming and Valeria Matilda Baldozier. He grew up in the rural Henderson, Iowa community and graduated from Wales Lincoln High School in 1929. Henry married Leta Slater in 1935, and to this union was born five children; Betty Marie, Nancy Mae, Loyd Aldon, Dorthy Irene, and Lois Jean. Read More	Henry Aldon Fleming was born in Madison County, Nebraska, on December 18, 1911. He was one of eight children born to Willie F. Fleming and Valeria Matilda Baldozier. He grew up in the rural Henderson, Iowa community and graduated from Wales Lincoln High School in 1929. Henry married Leta Slater in 1935, and to this union was born five children; Betty Marie, Nancy Mae, Loyd Aldon, Dorthy Irene, and Lois Jean. In 1964, Henry married Jean Sherley, who had two children, Richard Eugene and Lois Marlene. They were married until her death in 1975. Henry, "Short" as he was known by his family and friends, was engaged in farming throughout his life. He enjoyed hunting and fishing and going to the "races." Henry was a very supportive and loving father and grandfather. He really enjoyed spending time with his family. His support extended beyond his family to his friends and neighbors. He strongly believed in lending a helping hand to his neighbors. Henry had been ill from kidney disease for several years. He was preceded in death by his parents; his first born daughter, Betty; his second wife, Jean; two sisters, and a brother. He is survived by his four children; Nancy Collins of Omaha, Nebraska; Loyd Fleming and wife Sandi of Omaha, Nebraska; Dorthy Lewis and husband Mickey of Plano, Texas; Lois Ehrenfried and husband Jon of Fontanelle, Iowa; two step-children, Dick Sherley and wife Mary of Massena, Iowa; Marlene Schildberg and husband Dennis of Orient, Iowa; a brother, Lynn Fleming and wife Marilyn of Henderson, Iowa; three sisters; Carolyn Mill and husband Bob of Seymour, Wisconsin; Wilma Vieman and husband Wayne of Treynor, Iowa; fifteen grandchildren and one great granddaughter. The family of Henry A.
