James was brought to the county early Sunday morning and after burial services conducted at the grave by Revs. W. E. Powell and Giles B. Cook was laid to rest with his people in the cemetery at Kingston. The casket was covered with beautiful floral tributes and a large number of friends were present to pay a last tribute of respect to his memory. The casket was covered with beautiful floral tributes and a large number of friends were present to pay a last tribute of respect to his memory. Mr. James was the son of the late Captain and Mrs. Alex James and grew up and spent most of his life here where he had many friends and was very highly esteemed as an upright man and a good citizen. He is survived by his wife, Mrs. Grace M. James, two little baby boys, two sisters, Misses Estelle and Georgie James, and two brothers, Alex and Maxwell James. To them the sympathy of all the people of the county goes out in fullest measure in the hour of their greatest sorrow. At the time of his death, Mr. James was 35 years of age and held a responsible position with the Gulf Refining Company of Philadelphia.
