Description	:	Wabash Plain Dealer Newspaper 5 May 1928 Henry Baker, 84 resident of Wabash County for 80 years died at the home of his daughter, Mrs Fred Glazier, 488 North Allen Street, Friday evening at 6:10 o'clock. Death came after a long illness with complications of advanced years and a two year paralytic illness. Henry Baker was the son of Daniel and Katherina Baker and was born August 2, 1843 at Peru. A few years later the family moved to Ohio and when still a small bay, the Baker family came to Wabash County. That was 80 years ago. The marriage of Henry Baker and Elizabeth Maurer occurred in December 1884. The couple lived a number of years on a farm near Urbans, but for the past 40 years Mr Baker had made his home with his daughter, Mrs Fred Glazier. He engaged as a carpenter for many years. Mr Baker is survived by a sister Mrs Susanna Sewell of Denver Indiana and five children, Mrs Charles Mattern, Mrs Fred Glazier, Mrs George Whisler, Charles Baker all of Wabash and Mrs Albert Goehler of North Manchester. Burial will be in Falls Cemetery. Six grandchildren of Mr Baker will act as pallbearers. They are, Elmer and Oras Mattern, Fred Goehler of Chicago, LeRoy Goehler of Fort Wayne, Kentner Baker and Ralph Wire. 1880: Residing Paw Paw Twsp, Wabash County, Indiana.
