He was well known in the wire fence industry, having been the organizer of the MacGregor-Banwell Fence Company which operated a plant in Walkerville. Fifteen years ago he moved to Hamilton and established the Peerless Fence Company. Later he came to Sarnia and was the owner and manager of the Sarnia Fence Company. His funeral was largely attended and there were many beautiful flowers. BANWELL GENEALOGY - Donald R. Woods: ****************************** Henry was an entrepreneur. He became wealty and left bequests totalling $108,500. The majority were bequeathed to charities, churches, missions, the YMCA.
