Description	:	GEORGETOWN, May 9. Special: Henry D. Thomas, 69 years old, farmer of the Dahoo section of the county, died at 7:45 p. m. today at the home of his daughter, Mrs. S. H. Norton, in Andrews. He had been ill for some time but was critically ill for only a week. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a. m. Thursday by the Rev. Harry Barthel and the Rev. C. B. He had been ill for some time but was critically ill for only a week. Funeral services will be conducted at 11 a. m. Thursday by the Rev. Harry Barthel and the Rev. C. B. Edwards, with burial in the Andrews cemetery. Mr. Thomas was born on November 28, 1880, in the Dahoo section and spent his entire life there. He was the son of Boss Thomas and Alice Garner Thomas. Besides farming, he drove a school bus for 22 years. He was a member of the Saint Delight Pentecostal Holiness church. Surviving are his widow, Mrs. Ida Nelson Thomas; five daughters, Mrs. Turner Fowler of Charleston; Mrs. W. H. Joiner, Jr., of Swainsboro, Ga.; Mrs. T. V. Blake, of Georgetown; Mrs. Norton and Mrs. W. A. Powell of Andrews; two sons, Joe R. Thomas and H. B. Thomas, Jr., of Andrews; also 17 grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
