Jones, Sr., 72, died at 6:40 o'clock last night at the home here following a illness of more than a year with a stomach disorder. He had been in critical condition for the past three weeks. Interment was in Cherokee cemetery. Mr. Jones was born in Blythe, England, June 16, 1864, moving to Crawford County 55 years ago. For fifteen years, he had lived in Ringo. He was a retired coal miner. Memberships were held in the Church of England and the United Mine Workers of America. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Sarah E. Jones; a daughter, Mrs. Jennie Ryder of Tulsa; three sons, John Robert Jones of Girard, Henry Jones, Jr. of Fleming and George Jones of Tulsa; two stepdaughters, Mrs. Mary Neet of Radley and Mrs. Isabel Taylor of Buena Vista, Colo, and a brother, Thomas Jones of Hollywood, Calif.
