Description	:	LELAND- Funeral services were held today in the Immanuel Lutheran church, Forest City, for Henry Cleopha Holland, who died Saturday morning at the Municipal hospital in Forest City at the age of 77 years. Death was caused by a cerebral hemmorrhage which occurred after a lengthy period of illness. Read More	LELAND- Funeral services were held today in the Immanuel Lutheran church, Forest City, for Henry Cleopha Holland, who died Saturday morning at the Municipal hospital in Forest City at the age of 77 years. Death was caused by a cerebral hemmorrhage which occurred after a lengthy period of illness. Mr. Holland was born Feb 7, 1873, innLanesboro, Minn., to Henry P. and Betsy Holland and came to this vicinity with his parents at the age of 5. With the exception of four years he spent in Alaska just previous to his marriage, he lived here until moving to Forest City in 1944. He was married to Anna Haugen in Winnebago church Jan. 17, 1906. He was an active member of the Lutheran church during his life. Mr. Holland spent the major portion of his life operating a farm north of Leland. He was prominent in public affairs in this township. Mr. Holland was preceded in death by one son; Elvin, who died in infancy. His survivors are his wife, Anna, three sons, Arthur and Herbert of Leland, and Clifford of St. Paul, ten grandchildren, one sister, Mrs. Louise Quam of Crookston, Minn., and two brothers, Helmer and Stanford of Echo, Minn. The body lay in state at the Immanuel Lutheran church from noon until 2 p.m. when funeral servicesi were conducted by the Rev. Arndt Halvorson. Burial was in the Forest Home cemetery in Leland. Pallbearers were Ernest Knudtson, Herbert Holtan, Gilmer Haugen, Truman Haugen, Dr. Millard Thompson, and Alvin Haugen. Clifford Holland of St. Paul was summoned at the time of his father's illness and was with him at the time of his death. He and his family attended the funeral.
