Read More	Choteau Acantha (MT), 3 Feb 1944 Popular Citizen, Henry Davidson, Killed Monday Henry Davidson, 62, well known old-time resident and farmer of the Burton bench country, was accidentally killed at his ranch near Farmington last Monday afternoon. He had apparently dismounted from a load of hay to open a gate and lead his team through when in some way he fell and the wagon passed over him, crushing his head. The team did not run away. He was alone at the time, but a neighbor Henry Arsenmeyer, soon came upon the scene and the injured man was rushed to the hospital in Choteau, but he died enroute. Funeral services are being held today from the Methodist church in Choteau. Burial will be in Choteau cemetery. Survivors include the widow, Mrs. Laura Davidson; two sons, Ray of Choteau and Robert of the armed forces; four daughters, Miss Hazel Davidson of Los Angeles, Mrs. Frank Zgoda, Choteau, Mrs. Emil Depner, Farmington, Mrs. Garry Johnson, Dillon. There are also among the survivors a brother, Arthur Davidson of Power, and three sisters: Mrs. Clara Bollerud, and Mrs. Emma Roberson, both of Nooksuk, Wash. and Mrs. John Frydenlund, who with her husband makes her home in Norway. Deceased was born in Minnesota, Nov. 1, 1882, the son of Mr. and Mrs. David Davidson, pioneer settlers on the Burton bench. He was educated in the schools of Dennison, Minn., and later took a business course at the State College, Bozeman, Mont., after coming to the state with his parents in 1898. In 1906 he moved to the ranch where the fatal accident occurred. He was married in Choteau in 1907 to Miss Laura Anderson, of the Farmington neighborhood. His mother preceded him in death in 1929 and his father in 1936. He was postmaster in Farmington for 13 years. He was a faithful and loving husband and a devoted father. One of his greatest joys during the last few years of his life was his association with his five grandchildren who affectionately called him Papa.
