In 1779, Henry obtained another land grant from the State of North Carolina, issued by Governor Richard Caswell. His family home, built about 1770, is located on Oakville Road, about four miles from Route 158 on the right-hand side (about 8 mi. north of Warrenton); the family cemetery is adjacent to the homestead, which was standing in 2014. Henry gave an acre of land and a church of logs was built in 1771. The earliest deed located is dated February 23, 1771. Hebron United Methodist Church is the oldest Methodist Church in continuous use in North Carolina and is listed in the National Register of Historical Places. The church is located seven miles east of Wise and the Wise Five Fork Road in Oakville. There is no surviving headstone for Henry; however, he is certainly buried in the family cemetery by the home he built.
