Description	:	Henry "Hank" J. Meyers 72, went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2003, in his home in Billings, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Billings to Henry Sr. and Gertrude (Mossman) Meyers. He attended Fratt School and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949. He enlisted in the Navy and served for three years in Japan during the Korean conflict. He played shortstop for a 7th Fleet team, the Atsugi (Japan) Flyers. Meyers 72, went home to be with the Lord on July 17, 2003, in his home in Billings, surrounded by his loving family. He was born Jan. 13, 1931, in Billings to Henry Sr. and Gertrude (Mossman) Meyers. He attended Fratt School and graduated from Central Catholic High School in 1949. He enlisted in the Navy and served for three years in Japan during the Korean conflict. He played shortstop for a 7th Fleet team, the Atsugi (Japan) Flyers. Soon after his honorable discharge in 1954, he married Donna Peltier of Billings. Together they had four children. He worked as a construction superintendent for many projects in the Billings area. Prominent among them are Rimrock Mall and various schools. He was nominated for Craftsman of the Year among the Billings contractors. After retiring in 1995, he spent time fishing, hunting, gardening and watching the Atlanta Braves. He was a longtime member of Holy Rosary Parish where he was an usher. Recently he and his family have attended St. Pius X Catholic Church. Hank is survived by his wife of 49 years, Donna; three sons, Stephen, Hank III (Patricia), Paul (Melody); one daughter, Debbie (Kevin) Fries; a sister, Louise (Tony) Schaff; a brother, George; 15 grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews. He is preceded in death by his parents, four sisters and one brother. A Vigil Service for Hank will be 7 p.m. Monday, July 21, at Dahl Funeral Chapel. Funeral Mass will be celebrated at 10 a.m. Tuesday at St. Pius X Catholic Church. Rite of Committal will be in Holy Cross Cemetery with military honors. A luncheon will follow at the church.
