Read More	Henry James ‘Jim' Reiter At the age of 68, Jim Reiter died peacefully at his home, surrounded by his family, Saturday, Sept. 26, 2009, following a yearlong courageous battle with cancer. Jim was born in Billings, June 22, 1941, the son of Henry and Sarah (Weil) Reiter. He grew up on the family farm in Laurel, attended Allendale and Canyon Creek grade school, graduating from Laurel High School in 1960. On March 9, 1963, Jim was united in marriage to Diane Schneider in Columbus. Diane and Jim owned a dairy farm in Laurel and later a cattle ranch in Molt where he loved to spend time. Jim enjoyed buying and caring for cattle, collecting coins, traveling especially to Sedona, Ariz. and Lincoln City, Ore., gardening and collecting antique tractors. He loved spending time with his grandchildren and taking special care of his children and his way of showing his love was the 'daddy do list'. You could find Jim playing cards at cattle sales or having coffee at Albertson's with his friends. A great husband and father, Jim will be dearly missed by his family and friends. Jim leaves behind his beloved wife of 46 years, Diane; son Rodney Reiter of Great Falls; daughters, Tracy Reiter of Billings, Jamie (Mike) Craddock of Laurel, Jenny Reiter of Billings; grandchildren, Lindsey, Adam and Philip Reiter, Madison and Hannah Craddock, Jessica Hahne; sisters: Betty (Albert) Kober of Billings, Marge Lenhart of Laurel; brother Robert Reiter of Laurel as well as numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents. Funeral services will be 11 a.m. Tuesday at First Presbyterian Church, 13th and Poly. There will be visitation one hour prior to the service at the church. Interment will be in the Laurel Cemetery. Arrangements are in the care of Dahl Funeral Chapel. Memories and condolences may be made to the family at www.dahlfuneralchapel.com.
