He had been in ill health for the past five years. Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Wednesday in the chapel of the Fred Bader funeral home. Rev. W. H. Frederick is to officiate. Burial will be in Ridge cemetery. The body of Mr. Reimers is expected to arrive in Fremont, Tuesday evening. Henry Reimers was born Oct. 20, 1875 in Germany and came to the United States when he was six years old. He settled with his parents in Iowa, where they lived for two years before coming to Fremont. He left Fremont 20 years ago and moved to Cheyenne. He was in the Cigar and Tobacco Co., and at one time worked for the H. G. Bretenfeld Cigar Co. Later he was employed by the Union Pacific railway. Mr. Reimers was a member of the Salem Lutheran church of Fremont and the Eagles lodge of Fremont. Surviving are his wife, Mable and three brothers, Ed Reimers, Norfolk, John Reimers, Genoa and Fred Reimers, Grand Island; five sisters, Mrs. Sophia Peterson, Omaha, Mrs. William Voss, Omaha, Mrs. Dora Siemsen, Glendale, Calif., Mrs. Orvas Clark, and Mrs. Roy Hardenbrook, of Fremont. Reimers who died Sunday at Cheyenne, Wyo., were held at 11 a.m. Wednesday, in the chapel of the Fred Bader funeral home. Rev. P. W. H. Frederick officiated with burial in Ridge cemetery. Carl Olson sang "The Old Rugged Cross" and "We're Going Down the Valley One by One," accompanied by Mrs. John Anderson. Pallbearers were William Feinauer, William Kassebaum, Walter Kassebaum, Joe Ummel, Henry Tank and Herman Stelk.
