HENRY KASPARI, PIONEER CITIZEN OF YORK, PASSES AWAY ALL THE MEMBERS OF HIS IMMEDIATE FAMILY ARE PRESENT WHEN END COMES Mr. Henry Kaspari, age 75 years, a pioneer resident of this city, passed away at his home, 501 East Fifth street, yesterday morning at 10:10 o'clock. Mr. Kaspari has been in failing health for several years but his last illness was of but one week's duration. He had been a patient sufferer from heart trouble for the past several years. He was born in the Prussian Province of Westphalia, Germany, and served in the Austrian-Prussian war of 1866, when he won distinction while serving with the calvary. He came to America when twenty-five years of age, settling in Madison county, Illinois, where he made his home until coming to Nebraska thirty-three years ago. Mr. and Mrs. Kaspari resided on the home farm four miles southeast of York for several years and where the latter died twenty years ago. About fourteen years ago the family removed to York. Surviving his death are two sons and five daughters, Henry, Jr., living south of the city; Emil, who resides at Ord., Neb.; Mrs. George Markle, of Omaha; Mrs. Fred Geis, Mrs. George Geis, Mrs. Fred Beide, who reside near York and Miss Julia, at home. All the children were at the bedside when death came. The funeral services will be held at St. Joseph's Catholic church tomorrow morning at 10:00 o'clock. Rev. Father Cullen will celebrate Solemn Requiem High Mass. Rev. Father Hayes and Rev. Father Hagan of Aurora, will assist. Burial will be in the St. Joseph's cemetery east of the city.
