Mr. Krouse was born May 30, 1863, at Toddville, and he had lived in that vicinity all his life. On March 21, 1900, he was married to Ella Schrimper at Buffalo. He had lived at the home place for 43 years at the time of his death. In addition to his wife he is survived by two sons, Floyd of Cedar Rapids and Russell at home, four daughters, Mrs. Mabel Walser and Mrs. Dorothy Troette, both of Cedar Rapids, Mrs. Hilda Ashlock and Mrs. Laverna Soukup, both of Center Point, and 12 grandchildren. Mr. Krouse was preceded in death by a daughter, three brothers and four sisters. Services will be held in the Turner chapel at 2 p.m. Friday. Burial will be in the Dunkard cemetery. Friends may call at the Turner chapel.
