Henry Lapour was born May 28, 1911 at Tyndall, SD to Frank and Minnie (Grose) Lapour. He lived in Tyndall on the family farm until age 14. In 1925, he moved to a farm south of Geddes. Henry Lapour was born May 28, 1911 at Tyndall, SD to Frank and Minnie (Grose) Lapour. He lived in Tyndall on the family farm until age 14. In 1925, he moved to a farm south of Geddes. He married Alice R. Rysavy on September 17, 1944 in Lake Andes. They continued to farm until retirement in December 1972. He worked for Green Thumb Program in the Geddes area in 1985. He moved to the Good Shepherd Lutheran Home in Blair, NE in January 2001 after a hip fracture. He was a lifelong member of the United Methodist Church of Geddes. He is survived by his wife, Alice Lapour, Blair; three daughters: Patricia A. Hennum, Atlanta, GA; Linda R. (Deane) Koster, Blaire; and Margaret (Jimmy) Christensen, Belle Fourche, SD; six grandchildren; four great-grandchildren.
