Gene Sitzmann officiating. Burial was in Visitation Cemetery with the Greenwood Funeral Home in charge. Mr. George was born July 27, 1911. He married Louise Wiens [Wienk] on Sept. 9, 1943, and they farmed near Cherokee. He was a veteran of World War II and a member of Treptow Post, American Legion.
