He was born May 5, 1916, at Fairfax, S.D., the third son of August and Elsie Roth. He came with his family to Colorado while a boy. On May 9, 1965, he married Lila Finn. Henry worked as a fieldman for Farmland Industries at Wray until ill health forced his retirement.
